DENVER, CO – October 1, 2026 – Homebot, Inc., provider of the award-winning, client-for-life portal that empowers consumers to build wealth through homeownership, today announced it has joined FirstHome IQ, the housing industry’s 501(c)(3) nonprofit, as a corporate partner. The partnership connects FirstHome IQ’s first-time homebuyer education with Homebot’s post-closing home wealth platform, giving loan officers and real estate agents one set of resources to use with clients before and after a purchase.
Mortgage and real estate professionals are working both ends of a trust problem. FirstHome IQ research, drawn from surveys of more than 9,000 millennial and Gen Z consumers, found that only 12 percent trust a housing professional not to take advantage of them, and that 82 percent received little or no financial education in school. Six in ten report anxiety about their money and one in three avoid dealing with it altogether, and that overwhelm is measurably delaying decisions about buying a home. At the other end of the relationship, the past clients who make up a professional’s best source of repeat and referral business increasingly take their housing questions to search portals and AI assistants rather than to the person who closed their loan.
The partnership gives professionals something to use at both ends. FirstHome IQ supplies free consumer courses, calculators, and a step-by-step homeownership plan at learn.firsthomeiq.com, along with the training, scripts, and presentation libraries professionals use to teach in their own markets at teach.firsthomeiq.com. As a nonprofit, it also lets a professional point to a third party that vouches for them. Homebot reaches that same client after closing with personalized monthly insight into home value, equity, rate scenarios, and wealth-building options, with the loan officer or agent attached to every insight.
“Consumers are stuck. They are anxious about money, they were never taught this, and they do not know who to believe. We built a network of trusted professionals and gave them the tools to lead with education instead of a pitch. Homebot carries that same relationship past the closing table,” said Kristin Messerli, Executive Director of FirstHome IQ.
“Holly is most of us. She buys a home, takes that manila envelope of documents, puts it on the bookshelf and never looks at it again,” said Ernie Graham, CEO and co-founder of Homebot. “Eighty-three percent of her wealth at retirement comes from that house, and it is completely unmanaged. Her 401k has professional management. Her home equity has nothing. FirstHome IQ gets her to the closing table knowing what she signed, and we keep the professional who got her there in the relationship for the decade that follows.”
The two organizations co-hosted their first joint session on September 9, 2026. “The Business Hiding in Your Database,” part of the FirstHome IQ Impact Masterclass series, was moderated by FirstHome IQ and featured Ernie alongside Wally Elibiary, founder of 24-7 Mindset. The session drew on the joint Homebot and Mortgage Bankers Association State of the Mortgage Report.
Each organization is extending a partner rate to the other’s community. Learn more about a discount to the FirstHome IQ ambassador program for Homebot customers. FirstHome IQ ambassadors can also receive a discounted rate to Homebot, ask for the promo code today.
