What's New: What we launched in Q1 2025

Smarter Search, Better Buyer Insights & More

We're kicking off 2025 with powerful new updates designed to engage more buyers, drive pre-qualifications, and gain deeper insights into client activity. As the market evolves, staying ahead requires smarter strategies and tooling that enhance your ability to nurture relationships, anticipate client needs, and provide a seamless experience throughout the homeownership journey. From enhancements to Home Search and Listing Alerts to improved buyer data and partner management tools, these improvements make it easier than ever to stay ahead of the competition and deliver real value to your clients. Let's dive into what's new.

Home Search Enhancements: More Ways to Engage Buyers

Finding the right home is a journey – especially in today's market. And the typical property search filters are based on MLS structured data that don't allow buyers to do the dynamic and complex searching they need. We wanted to change that. Last year, we launched several affordability features within our search experience that allows buyers to search based on listings with seller concessions, assumable mortgages, and loan buy downs. Now, your clients can search for properties with the tools they need to meet their affordability goals. But we're not done yet ... this quarter we've added several new features to further improve their search experience, while keeping you connected.

  • Newly Listed Homes Gallery: Buyers don’t want to miss out on the perfect home. That's why we've introduced a dynamic new gallery on the For You page, highlighting fresh listings that match buyers’ preferences, helping them discover new homes faster.
  • Open House Connections: Open houses are a key part of the buying process, but they’ve often been disconnected from a buyer’s ongoing relationship with their loan officer or agent. With this update, buyers can now connect directly with listing agents when they express interest in an open house. At the same time, we keep you informed and connected, ensuring a seamless and collaborative experience.
  • Video Call Scheduling: The homebuying process comes with a lot of financial questions, and buyers often want guidance before making a move. Now, they can schedule a video call with their loan officer directly within Homebot to discuss mortgage options, pre-qualification, and affordability. This keeps buyers engaged, informed, and connected to their trusted advisor—you.

Smarter Buyer Imports for Better Pipeline Management

Understanding where your buyers are in their journey is critical to engaging them at the right time. That’s why we’ve enhanced buyer imports with Total Expert integrations and new data fields like Prospective Property Address & Zip Code.
These updates allow you to:

  • Seamlessly import and sync buyer data from Total Expert
  • Capture more granular insights int owhere your buyers are looking
  • Engage buyers with personalized outreach based on their property preferences

With a more organized and data-driven approach, you can ensure that no buyer falls through the cracks.

Driving More Pre-Qualifications

When a buyer reaches out about pre-qualification, you want to capture that interest immediately—before they get distracted or move on. Now, when clients send a message through Homebot about pre-qualifying, they’ll see a one-click option to start their application right away. This simple but powerful update removes unnecessary friction from the process, making it easier than ever for buyers to take action on their financing—and for you to capture more pre-qualified leads.

Reducing CMA Noise for Real Estate Agents

Homeowners love being able to adjust their home value estimate in Homebot, but in the past, this automatically triggered a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) request—even when the homeowner wasn’t actively seeking an expert opinion.

With this update, homeowners now have the option to choose whether to request a CMA when they adjust their home value estimate.

This means:

  • Real estate agents receive fewer unnecessary requests, so they can focus on serious sellers.
  • Homeowners only request a CMA when they truly want expert insights.
  • A better experience for everyone, leading to more meaningful client-agent interactions.

Enhanced Listing Alerts: Real-Time Visibility into Client Activity

The moment a client or real estate partner lists a home for sale is a critical opportunity to engage. We’ve made Listing Alerts even better, giving loan officers and realtors real-time visibility into their clients’ activity. With a simplified UI and updated email design, it’s now easier to track when clients or real estate partners list a home—allowing you to engage at the right moment.

Full Loan Visibility in the Client Engagement Portal (CEP)

Your clients’ financial picture is more than just a mortgage—it’s a full financial journey. In the past, loan officers could only see one loan per home in Homebot, but we know that many homeowners carry multiple loans tied to a single property.

Now, you can:

  • View all loans associated with a property for a more complete understanding.
  • Advise clients on refinancing, payoff strategies, and future transactions with better insights.
  • Offer a more comprehensive financial review, strengthening your advisory role.

With greater visibility into your clients' loan details, you’ll be able to provide more strategic guidance and build even stronger relationships.

Better Partner Intel: Find the Right Real Estate Agents

A strong lender-agent partnership is key to success, and we’re making it easier to find the right real estate partners to grow your business.

What’s new?

  • Year-over-year performance insights to evaluate long-term partner potential.
  • Company type filters so you can refine searches and personalize your outreach.

These updates ensure you’re partnering with the best, based on real data and insights.

More Control for Enterprise Teams

For enterprise lenders, managing teams and workflows within Homebot should be easy and flexible. Our latest updates to the Client Engagement Portal (CEP) make it simpler to:

  • Manage office and plan settings with enhanced admin controls.
  • Ensure the right team members have the right level of access for efficiency.
  • Streamline how enterprise teams use Homebot for maximum impact.

These improvements give large lending teams the control they need to stay organized and productive.

Vidyard Integration: Streamlining Video Management

Personalized video messaging is one of the best ways to engage clients and build trust, and we’re making it even easier to manage your video content. This integration helps you create more meaningful connections through video—without the hassle of switching between platforms.

With our new Vidyard integration, you can:

  • Upload and organize videos directly within Homebot’s video manager.
  • Easily share personalized videos with clients to enhance engagement.
  • Keep all your video content in one place, making it simple to access and update.

That's a wrap for this quarters product updates! Each of these updates is designed to help you engage clients at the right moment, improve pipeline management, and create stronger connections with both buyers and partners. Explore these new feature updates and start making an even bigger impact in 2025. Got feedback? We' love to hear how these updates are helping you and what else you'd like to see.
